Over the last business year, Knights of Columbus Insurance issued $8.6 billion of new life insurance, provided $1 billion in benefits, including $441 million in death benefits and $262 million in refunds to members.
Councils across North America can purchase new winter coats at a discount to be distributed to the children in need in their local communities to ensure that no child in North America goes without a coat during the winter season. Hundreds of thousands of new winter coats have been distributed to children since program inception.
The Knights of Columbus has been helping young people obtain this freedom since our founding. During the past year, the Supreme Council provided nearly $1 million in scholarships to students attending colleges, universities, and seminaries.
Over the past 18 years, the Knights of Columbus has donated more than 100,000 wheelchairs. This work has been done in collaboration with the Global Wheelchair Mission.
